Just wanted to thank everyone again for a wonderful weekend.  If Facebook isn't reaching all 454 of you then at least most of you are starting to see that we are back at our location. 

 Yesterday was amazing.  We had many large orders and stayed steady busy all day long.  Not a dull moment and time flew by.  We were sold out and closing up shop at 4:30.  

When we have big orders it does take us time to recover and get more food heated up or cooked and we are working on different ways to keep that from being a problem and disappointment to our customers.  If you are having an unexpected get together or if you know in advance and would like large quantities you can always give us a call 620-778-2500. Give us a heads up and time to get your order ready. 

Now when we run out of food is a entirely different story.  We love it when that happens.  However, if we do that to often you our customer will not be so happy about that.  We do have a new order taking program as many of you have seen and it is helping us with seeing trends and letting us know how much of items we sell and at what times of day they are selling.   I think we would of been prepared under normal circumstances but the nice weather was a great boost in sales and we simply hadn't planned for that.

So thank you once again for proving to us that the food we are selling is good food and that you love it.  These last few weeks we have seen the return of many regular customers and have seen new faces and heard great reviews of how they have liked our food.  So we are growing! 

We might become the "FRANKLINS" of  South East Kansas yet!

Colors!!!!  We like colors.  ESPECIALLY RED BBQ SAUCE! 

We had a fabulous day yesterday and today is off to a pretty good start.  Yesterday we couldn't cook ribs fast enough and today is the belly busters.

Sitting here enjoying the delicious smell of pulled pork and brisket slow cooking its way to tenderness on this BEAUTIFUL spring evening.  FINALLY spring has come to thaw us out and give us all some new life and joy. 

Joy!  We have had some very good news and good luck this week.  First I found ground beef on sale.  80/20 Black Angus ground beef to be exact.  I stocked up and think we should be able to keep from raising burger prices.  That is great news for us and you.  The next great break came from Richard at Save A Lot he cut us a deal on some meat that keeps us from raising the rest of our meat prices as well.  We may not get the biggest breaks like the local restaurants but we work hard to give you the quality products and service that they give.   We are truly blessed and grateful

that we do not have to raise prices and we can stay competitive with other bigger/ small business in our area.
